Chief Clement Azagba
Director
I am Chief Clement Chuks Azagba, the Onye-Ekpe-Eze of Umunede Kingdom, from Idumu Ileje, Umunede, Ika Northeast, Local Government Area, Delta State, Nigeria. I am currently a Board Member of Anioma Association, Washington DC, Metropolitan Area Chapter. I have served the Association in several positions as follows – Treasurer, Vice President, and President.
I also have served in various Associations, demonstrating my love for a great and strong community service and leadership within the United States and local communities in Delta State, Nigeria.
Education: MSC; Business Management, Bowie State University, Maryland.
Employment: Montgomery County Department of Health. Maryland.

Ms. Duchess Ifie Ogbechie

Ms. Ifeanyi Ogbechie has been a founding member of the Anioma Association Washington DC, since the idea was hatched in 1990 during a function at the Howard University Blackburn Center. Ms. Ogbechie hails from Umuolo, Onicha Ugbo. She was a founding member of the Onicha Ugbo Development and Cultural Foundation (ODCF) and is currently a member of the Board of Trustees.
Offices Held: Social Secretary, ODCF, Social Secretary, Ogwashi Uku Progress Association.
Ms. Ogbechie practices as a Registered Nurse in the DC area. She continues to play a supportive role to elected officials to assure the growth visibility of the association.
Mrs Augustina Okonkwo

Mrs. Tina Okonkwo hails from Umuokwe in Ogwashi-Uku, Delta State of Nigeria. She has been a member of this great Anioma Association since 2014 and served as the treasurer for four years. As a result of her love for the community’s socio-cultural advancement in the DMV Area she was elected to the position of financial secretary of this association. She became a board member in 2024.
Mrs. Okonkwo joined the foreign service of Nigeria after her graduation and has served in many diplomatic missions abroad, including the missions in Berlin, Rome, New York, and currently serving in Washington DC. In each of the positions, Mrs. Okonkwo was committed to excellence in the performance of consular and protocol duties as well as handling of staff matters.
Mrs. Okonkwo is recognized for her kindness, warmth, and availability to render assistance when required, be it formally and informally. She is respected and admired by her colleagues and the community in the service to mankind; evidenced by the number of awards she has received.
Ms Benedicta Mordi-Ogunbiyi

Benedicta Uche Mordi Ogunbiyi hails from the Mordi Royal quarters of Akpama in Ubulu-Uku kingdom, Aniocha South Local Government area of Delta State.
Uche Mordi Ogunbiyi is a member of the Anioma Association, Washington DC Board. She holds several key positions in various associations, demonstrating her great commitment to community service and leadership within the United States and her local community in Nigeria.
She is the current 2nd VP, Ubulu-Uku Development Union, National USA. Current President, Ubulu-Uku Development Union(UDU) Maryland (DMV) Chapter. Financial Secretary, Aniocha Progressive Union, DMV.
Uche’s active participation in these roles in leadership shows her dedication in supporting and promoting the interests and cultural heritage of the Anioma and Ubulu-Uku communities. Her leadership and selfless services spanning over fifteen years are great assets for these associations she represents.
